Penofin ® exterior finishes are
formulated to safeguard the natural beauty of wood and to prevent
discoloration from the sun's ultraviolet rays.
Penofin ® resists and retards bleeding caused by nails. Two key
ingredients contribute to Penofin's exceptional abilities:
Brazilian Rosewood Oil provides tough, deep-down moisture protection
while still allowing the wood to "breathe". There's no surface film to
trap moisture, chip or peel.
Microscopically fine, trans-oxide pigments inhibit ultraviolet damage
and darkening. They add deep, rich color without hiding the natural
beauty of the grain.

Wax is needed for cut ends to reduce checking and to protect the
ends.
The manufacture recommends wax and it is on all our decking and
lumber.

You only apply it on cuts you make. The manufacture has already
treated the ends of our lumber. Note: Brush show is an example of what
you can use to apply

yourself. Our decking is rarely bowed and for several years we
did not carry this tool. However, homeowners who are building
their decks on weekends have asked us to carry this tool. |

We now offer BoWrench.
• A deceptively simple-looking tool, the BoWrench is a must have for
both professional builders and do-it-yourselfers. The BoWrench gives you
a fast, one-person way to straighten decking boards. This is great,
because decking material... whether redwood, cedar, or pressure treated
pine... is often warped, especially in 12 to 16 foot lengths.
• To operate the BoWrench, you simply slip the tool on a joist, pull
the lever arm, and release. You can either push or pull boards into
alignment, and when the handle is perpendicular, the tool locks in
place, holding the board securely and leaving both hands free to drive
nails or screws.
