Tigerwood Decking and deck Specifications

Tigerwood Decking (Muiracatiara) is bronze-colored, yellow-brown with irregular dark lines which is how the name Tigerwood was derived. Tigerwood decking is extremely hard, heavy, close-grained, and resists water well, making it a valuable hardwood. Increasing that value is the fact that it can come in large sizes. Tigerwood lumber has an attractive appearance and easy to shape with tools.

Tigerwood Decking is naturally resistant to rot, decay and insect attack. Our Tigerwood decking is responsibly harvested from managed forest to provide a truly renewable resource. Unlike composite, Tigerwood is naturally biodegradable and does not clog landfills. Tigerwood Decking is comparable to Ipe and is available at a fraction of the cost. We ship our Tigerwood decking products direct to your home or job site.
